Our Mission
Raise the Awareness of the
Jordanian Society on the Rights
of People with Disabilities and
the obligation to respect their
rights through emphasizing
dialogue and Voluntary work
among different Societal Centers
and representatives. Offer
Comprehensive medical and
rehabilitation services to
People with Disabilities
throughout the voluntary
committees, highlighting the
importance of their
participation in the development
process.
We base our mission on three
principles:
The Humanitarian Principle
The Individual with Special
Needs is a human being that has
rights starting with the right
to live in dignity regardless of
his health and financial
situation. Jesus said: “Treat
people the way you want them to
treat you.” We believe that, and
we also believe that there are
treasures in the heart of every
human being that should be
invested for the benefit of the
individuals with special needs.
The National Principle
People with Disabilities are our
partners in citizenship. By
supporting them we help them
reach out to their rightful
places in their family, society
and the whole country.
Spiritual Principle
The Jordanian Society, including
Christians and Muslims, is a
religious society. Both
religions share the same basis
in spite of their differences
which is that Christians and
Muslims believe in the same God,
and that God is the source of
human dignity. Based on this
spiritual ground, the Jordanian
society, Christians and Muslims,
stand together to serve the
individuals with special needs
and build the national unity
with the respect of the
religious freedom.
Our Vision
People with Disabilities become
partners in the development
Process and have a role in the
everyday life of the Jordanian
Society while enjoying all their
rights as provided by Law.
People with Disabilities are
provided with the fullest extent
of all Rehabilitation Services
including Physical and
Psychological Rehabilitation, in
addition to educational, medical
and training programs.
Furthermore, to ensure that the
Parents and Families of People
with Disabilities reach the
highest level of acceptance that
can be in order to support and
sustain them, so that all People
with Disabilities are offered a
fair chance to grow and prosper.
